Barge Card

Sorry I've not been around for a couple of days, but I had a trip to the hygienist which was awful and left me in even more pain than normal! I'm feeling a bit more like myself now and thought you might like to see a card I made for my hubby's birthday last week. He has always been interested in barges and narrow boats etc and would love to holiday on them at some time. Basically I told him this was as close to a holiday on a boat that he'll get!!!

NEWS!!! I have just learnt that I have won first place in Phindy's challenge No.2 with the baby girl card that I showed in my previous post. I am soooo very pleased to be chosen YIPPEEE!!

Today & tomorrow Martin is away to a craft fair at Shane's castle. I pray the weather stays favourable and that he has a successful time. I only wish I was well enough to go with him, but it's a long day and I have not slept all night yet again!! If anyone is interested in seeing more of what Martin makes, please feel free to have a look at our website, it's www.hillsidecrafts.co.uk and let me know what you think of his work. Personally I think he is incredibly talented, but I know I'm biased!!!

Whatever you plan to do today- hope it's a good one.
Hugs & Blessings,
Trish x

  1. Hi Trish,
Hope you have recovered from the hygienist!
That's a great idea to send Martin a card of the barge instead of going on a barge, I think I'll be copying the idea. Maybe send Phil a card with the photo of the lastest camers he wants, it'd save us a small fortune!
I'm so happy to hear you won Phindys challenge. Boy, are you good at this, keep it up!
    Love Elaine xx
