Hi My Friends,
I have an apology to you all for not being able to blog lately due to my health. I also wanted to let you know that I am going into hospital on Monday 13th September for an operation and will be out of commission for a while after.
If you believe in prayer, please remember me if you get a chance- I would really appreciate it- Thank you.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back amongst my cyber friends and back to my blogging which I was enjoying.
May I share with you all a happier thought. My son and his wife are expecting their first child. It is due around St Valentine's Day (Feb 2010) We are all very excited about this- especially as David has had a really tough time with testicular cancer approx 3 years ago. I'll keep you informed on the progress when I return.

- I am very happily married to my childhood sweetheart, Martin for 32years and have 2 children, David and Ruth. David is married to Susan and had their 1st anniversary in August. They live about 6 miles away, so see them quite often. Ruth went to Dundee university and qualified as a primary school teacher. She has since got a permanent job and loving teaching primary 7 children. Unfortunately I don't get to see her until holiday times. I used to work in a library going round schools on the van exchanging their reading books. I loved this job, but I need an operation which didn't go as planned resulting in me ending up in intensive care. This was 9 years ago, but I haven't been able to work since as I am left in constant pain which the pain clinics have tried to manage with an implant and morphine to only a slight degree of relief. Martin gave up his work to look after me and it resulted in him setting up a crafts business working from home. This has been growing with the addition of a website which helps keep me busy!! Our website is www.hillsidecrafts.co.uk My card making and my christian faith along with good friends has helped keep me sane!
My thoughts and prayers will be with you during your surgery and recuperation. Best wishes also to your son and DIL! My daughter is still in the hospital on bedrest with her baby, but is doing well with her diabetes and other problems. Best wishes! Lee
